Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I’m trying to decide which brand laptop to buy. I am going to be a freshman in college this fall and I am planning to go into accounting. I am looking at getting a MacBook. Has anyonoe had any problems sharing information between a mac and pc? If my school’s main operating system is dell, would I have trouble using a mac? Also, what does everyone think of dells? How is the quality, performance, etc? Any other brands that you really like?

Mac is really the best and most hi-tec. There is no problem between to two, I have a dell and a mac and they corraspond well together. With Dell, I find them very unsufficent. They have low quality, break easily, and are very unrealient.

Toshiba is good, I also have a laptop by them and it hasn’t failed, and it was rather inexpensive (600)

I would definitely recommend the macbook for college. It is a very strong computer for college. Apple have a good student discount scheme too.

Macintosh’s share information with windows PCs every day. Mac’s use standard networking protocols, and can easily connect to windows networks either wirelessly or wired with no extra software or hardware needed.

Mac’s can read most common file types, such as word documents, jpeg photos etc, and 95% of the stuff will be easily read, and they you will always save and send these file types with ease.

Additionally, a Macbook can install windows too, if your college gives you any custom software which needs windows to run.

Dell’s are notoriously bad in terms of customer service, and build quality. I would not recommend them to anyone.

If you are going to look for a windows laptop, I suggest Lenovo. They are high quality machines, which will offer you long life and good support.

Dells are terrible. I’ve never had one that hasn’t had multiple problems.
    Their customer service is awful.
I say go with the Mac.

well i never tried mac but it is well known fact that dell is cheap and runs extremely slow that why the schools buy them there so cheap but i got a toshiba laptop and it great and only cost about $1500 for everything in package i got microsoft home student software, an awsome printer for $20, virus protection and a $750 laptop with 3GB of RAM and runs pretty fast and i got it at BestBuy
