Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
i went on collegeboard.com to check out what the math problems are like, they were all things i didnt learn. what are the math questions like.
maybe collegeboard just put difficult problems on.
The questions are the level you need to have for the exam. If your school didn’t prepare you adequately, you’ll need to ramp up. I agree with Cat’s Tib, get an SAT prep book and use it. Tutoring is also a good idea.
Well, what is the highest math you took? I took the SAT while I was taking precalc, but there was none on the test. The test was all simple Algebra and some Geometry…most often it was common logic, like word problems. And a lot to do with PEMDAS.
the problems on collegeboard are very similiar to the ones on the actual SAT test. you probably should be practicing the questions regularly if you are finding them to be difficult.
Your school probably has practice tests and prep classes… I suggest you sign up for these, find out your weak points, and start studying like mad….
Best thing you can do is buy a SAT book from the bookstore and study. Also, check at your school and see if they offer tutoring sessions for SAT. I know some schools have special classes to help you get ready for the test. Good Luck!
ha ha i felt the same way, now im a senior and am taking it again oct 4th, iv learned all the math by now, all i can say is wait or learn it by urself. most of its basic but tricky.
