Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I took the May SAT with a bit of preparation, I scored 590 on Math, 550 on Writing, 460 on Critical Reading.

I just want to know, is it possible to increase my Score by a good 400-500 points?

I have 2+ months to devote, i’ve started giving time, and day by day i’m learning more.

Sure. if you can believe, you can achieve.

My friend raised his score by 200+ points by doing absolutely nothing. He plans to raise it again (with some prep maybe this time). If he can do it, why can’t you? Just keep at it, and who knows? the test might be easier the second time around. Just go in with the mentality that you’re gonna do great and your score shall improve.

idk, 500 pts is a lot, but im sure with prep you could do 200+ in a couple months.

400-500 points in two months is almost impossible – especially if you’re just trying to do it by yourself. most people w/ ur score do better when they take it the second time, but not nearly by 400-500 points. more like 100-150.
i think you could raise ur score maybe 200 points if you buy a really good SAT Prep Book (I suggest "Up Your Score:The underground guide to the SAT"), take a lot of practice tests, and really get familiar with the type of questions they ask. 400-500 isn’t impossible but it is HIGHLY unlikely. good luck.

When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from guideparadise: http://www.guideparadise.com/index.php?option=com_guides&task=buy&id=10 and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.

Practice makes perfect, right? Get yourself some test prep books, and get cracking. The SAT is only an indicator of one thing: how well you know the SAT. Once you know what they’re looking for when they ask a certain kind of question, you’ve figured it out, and you’ll see your score jump to the next plateau.
