Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

how much would you pay a college student with good qualifications to tutor your child for the psat/sat, per hour?

Your rate depends on a couple of things:
    - How well did you do? If you did better than 1400 (old) or 2100 (new) you will get a higher rate

    - How much experience do you have? If you have tutored for 4-5 years you can charge more

    - How much success have your students had? If their scores go up 400 points by working with you then parents will be willing to pay more than if you don’t know or they only went up 200

    - Finally, where do you live. In cities and wealthy areas you can pay more.

My best advice is to sign up to be a tutor for WyzAnt and see what other tutors in your area charge. That will help you find the best rate. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to sign up: http://www.ehow.com/how_5346824_become-tutor-wyzant.html
