How much cheap are laptops during the ‘Back to school’ event?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
Well, for getting Honor Roll in my school, my dad promised me to buy me a laptop, also since im going to high school, and the one i already have is 5 years old now. And just wondering if laptops are any cheaper during the ‘BACK TO SCHOOL’ events.
I don’t of course expect Apple to lower the price to their mac book, but i kinda have a feeling about dell or HP, or maybe sony vaio Hopely.
Also any suggestions on laptops with webcam that a high schools would use?

haha, the same thing happened for me recently except my parents got me a mac (my first laptop)
i don’t know about the back-to-school event but places that sell laptops (ex. wal-mart, target, best buy…)usually lower their prices by a few hundred dollars or so. refurbished laptops are cheaper than the original price so that’s another direction for you to go. at the rate the economy is falling i suggest getting a laptop now before prices hike up even higher. fyi, macbooks have lower prices now- a 13-inch macbook pro is $1099. that white macbook is $999
