Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I recently took the SATs in my SAT prep course and got 540 in math, 650 in reading and 670 in writing. I take them one more time in the prep course before I take the actual SATs on May 2nd.
Oops. The question SHOULD read "How much can I expect my SAT scores to go up the next time I take the SATs?" Wrong subject-verb agreement there. =P
Between -5% to +15%.
Consider Chatham College. http://www.chatham.edu They do not require the SAT.
Mine went up about two hundred points from one testing to the next. Now you know what to expect so that will help; there won’t be any test anxiety. Make sure you sleep well the night before, eat a good breakfast, and try not to worry too much. Good luck!
Depends on how much more you’ve prepared since the last time you took them. I took the SATs twice, ended up doing between 100-200 points worse the second time because I wasn’t as focused as the first time.
Patti’s experience is HIGHLY unusual; in fact, I’ve known them to investigate a person for cheating because their score went up 100 points after having taken a prep course and medication for anxiety the second time! I’ve looked at thousands of students’ test scores, and most don’t seem to change by more than 10 points up or down from one taking to the next.
