Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I am practicing doing the essay on an SAT in Official SAT Study Guide (collegeboard) and i always get stuck there. I hate the essay sectiona and it takes me 1/2 hour even to get into the topic. I blank out on the books i’ve read or historical facts (i don’t know many) to use for the 3 examples in my essay. and i really want to get a good score on it. what are your suggestions? I have to stop getting stuck at every topic. I suck at brainstorming and making an outline, it takes me a century.

Don’t worry about historical facts, you don’t need them for examples. You could use personal experience, or some one you know. Examples can be anything. It’s an half an hour essay so they don’t expect a lot of paragraphs. Quality is better than quantity. I suggest you practice on brainstorming.and outline, since your bad at that. Practice on grammar, cause too many can become a problem. You should also focus on writing paragraphs. Make sure all your sentence connect to the topic sentence. Have a purpose for every paragraph.
this site would help, It has examples of what a passing and non passing essay.
