How do i connect my xbox 360 to the internet through my wireless laptop?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
Ok here’s the deal, i have my laptop and xbox 360 which is on one side of the room (this is quite a long room, not sure how long but i dont feel like measuring) and i have the desktop computer in the other end of the room which is connected to a wireless router. What i want to do is connect my Xbox to my laptop and then using my laptop connect to the internet, just in case ill put a little diagram:
XBOX 360 <ETHERNET CABLE> LAPTOP <WIRELESS> DESKTOP/ROUTER <INTERNET>
Now ive been google-ing around and have found many people asking the same thing and others sharing their success in connecting and saving the money instead of buying a wireless connection for xbox, i have tried a few of these methods and none have yet worked, i have tried: making a bridge connection between my wireless and xbox cable and that didnt work and just plain connecting the xbox to my laptop and wirelessly connecting. i have tried both multiple times and nothing seems to work and aside from this topic sometimes my laptop doesnt recognize the xbox and when i do xbox-laptop connection test it fails. sorry for the long question but i really wanted to express in detail.
Ok so i did this with my laptop and at first their are a few glitches such as logging onto msn through laptop with on xbox live does not work nor does the actual internet on the laptop but they go away after some time. Here’s what you need to do:
when on this tick the box next to the message ‘allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection’ (do not tick the box next to message about allowing others to disable your connection)
1) Turn off you tv and xbox and plug the ethernet cable into the xbox
2) Make sure your laptop is connected to the internet wireless
3) Go onto the start menu on laptop – then control pannel – then network and internet (if you can not find network and internet try typing it into the search bar top right on control pannel)
4) From network and internet click ‘network and sharing center’
5) Top of the page you should see a picture/diagram of your current internet connection (eg: your computer, desktop, internet) Below this is you current and it should say something like Access – Local and internet. Connection – Wireless network connection. You should also see in blue writing ‘view status’, click this.
6) Bottom of the box that opens up you will see ‘properties’ ‘disable’ ‘diganose’, click propereties. You may get a message pop up asking for you to allow access, allow it.
7) Then you get up another window and at the top it has tab like things, one of these says sharing (the set back one) click this
9) Go back to network and sharing center and allow network discovery (again message will pop up for u to allow this) this is not nessicary but sometimes it will not bridge connection without you doing so.
10) Turn on your tv and xbox, it may not connected to internet through xbox right away, go on test xbox live connection and it should work
(if it does not work go on network and sharing center on laptop again and allow file sharing, this should solve the problem.
