Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

Also, how much did u improve from very first practice test to the eighth and final one.

I found that I did slightly better or about the same on practice tests as on the real test. I also found that it’s not a good idea to take too many practice tests. The best strategy to prepare for the SAT is to take a practice test, see what sorta of questions you got wrong. Then review that material until you understand it (using a review book that goes over verbal and math concepts). Then take another practice test and again look at what you got wrong and learn this stuff. Do this a few times and you will improve much more than if you just take a bunch of practice tests in a row.
When I took the SAT, it did not have a writing section. But I took the GRE recently, which has a similar section. Look at the types of essays that are often assigned on the writing section and look at what sort of essay you should write. Then practice with a few.
