Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I have found www.number2.com to be pretty useful but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other good sites to use.

Also, I was wondering: Can anyone tell me if the Barron’s SAT Prep book (not the 2400 Edition) sample tests are more difficult than the actual SAT test?
I couldn’t figure out how to reply to you guys so here it is:
I asked my parents if I could take a review course and they said I could do it, but they quickly changed their mind once I told them the price. I don’t quite have enough money to pay for it myself. I’v been reviewing from a Barron’s review book though,

Thanks for the info about Sparknotes, I didn’t even think to check there.

I know you want something free but if you’re really serious about the SAT I would take a Princeton Review Course. They teach you very well, and give you plenty of study materials. Before going I had about a 1600 on my SAT and after I got a 2170, although I did study a ton during and after, it really helps. And I don’t think it’s too expensive.

Also Barrons, Kaplan and Princeton Review books have decent practice tests but none of those tests can guage what you’ll do on the actual one bc they are subtle differences especially in the reading section. The best I can tell you is to do a ton easily then take the SAT a couple of times if you can so you’ll be more used to it your second time.

    Good Luck
