Could I break 2000 on SAT?
I just took a practice exam for SAT with no real preparation at all since last summer. (I attended SAT summer school back in sophmore summer and took online class for SAT in junior year summer)
I got 610 on math, 580 on Reading, and 540 on Writing with 8 on the essay.
If I study over the summer and take the test in the fall of 2008(since I am going to be a senior), what are the chances that I would score over 2000?

Well its possible, but I would aim a little lower like say 1900, that’s certainly possible, but a 2000 while possible is kind of a stretch.
it really hard….not alot of people can get over 2000 i no that only the top 10% of my school got over 2000
Well, the chances of scoring anywhere amid or above the 2000 range is very slim, however, with lots of studying throughout the summer, I do think you can break it. Your scores without any recent preperation aren’t bad, and with some studying, you can probably break into the mid 600s for both reading and writing. Further improvement in the math may enable you to reach a higher grade, but you have to really dedicate to studying in order to break the 2000s range, although I do think that the 1800s or 1900s are easily reachable if you study a little, but a lot of studying may bring you to the 2000s. Make sure to take many practice exams and get a lot of prep. books to increase your score. I do think its attainable for you, just study a lot. Good luck.
