Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

The laptop I want is for home use, for games, school work and lots of videos.

Have you ever thought about buying a refurbished laptop?. They are usually cheaper and last long time as long as you take excellent care of it. I bought an HP Laptop from PC Retro for $179.99. Its amazing and was very affordable. I watch videos on youtube, movies, facebook, and this laptop is wireless so you can get wifi anywhere that offers wireless internet. Here is a link for you to look at….

Depends on how cheap you’re wanting it. Please contact me at calem.james.bendell@gmail.com for more specific but you’re probably looking at something like Asus UL30A-A1 or a Toshiba Satellite T135-S1310 (this can be customized into an amazing laptop based upon your needs).

The Inspiron 15 would be alright.

You may want to look at the Alienware M15x for about $1400. You might not consider this cheap, but it could be worth the buy if you’re looking at running many serious games or anything like that.

Erik: a refurbished laptop wouldn’t be as good for gaming and watching lots of DVDs

To get a laptop to do what you want and be reliable you can not have a cheap option but a compromise and have a mid range laptop that fits 90% of your requests I would look at the Toshiba range and get one that fits your budget

I don’t know but I warn you, do not buy a Toshiba Satellite with Vista.
You risk getting a shitty graphics card, I have a 1.73GHz processor which is Intel Pentium Dual CPU and 3 GB of RAM and I can barely run any games at all, which is due to my graphics card (vista uses all of it).
