Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I have my own computer for personal use and I bought a 00 Apple Laptop for school use since im back in college and want to write it off of my taxes.
No. Not unless is was required to take the class.
No unless is required by your school and included in school tuiton and books and equipment fees.
are you filing Hope/Lifetime or the expanded new credit?
Generally no, unless it’s required that you buy it in order to sign up for the class. If it’s just for your convenience to have the laptop, it’s not deductible.
Yes, if is a qualified educational expense. It is not a normal itemized deduction. Go to http://www.irs.gov and look under Educational Expenses.
