Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

Just got a new PC for testing apps, I was wondering whether I can use a KVM to run the PC from my Laptop.

Most configurations I see are for using KVM for 2 PC or controled from a PC; what I want to know is whether I can use the laptops Keyboard, monitor and mouse to control the PC.

  • Mercuri says:

No. A KVM is actually different than you describe. You one one monitor/keyboard/mouse on two (or more) computers.

  • Jim H says:

Nope, but you CAN do remote desktop, where your desktop’s screen is displayed on your laptop in a window. It also connects your mouse and keyboard. Assuming of course they are networked together,

Too much detail for this forum, but it’s documented all over the place already.
