Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
Hi everyone, I am kinda new to this kinda stuff(For I am a foreign student planning to go to college in the U.S.) so I would like to know some stuff about the SAT, first about the the preparation; I don’t know how to prepare for this, and 2nd, the score I mean how low is a score of 800 and how high is 2400? could someone please help me!
I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.
The best thing would be to check out the website http://www.collegeboard.com. It will give you all the information you need about the tests, what the scores mean and has some very good study materials which can be purchased online.
huh
For the best info, check collegeboard.com.
If you don’t want to go through there, though (the site’s kinda confusing), I can answer your questions:
1. The SAT, in my opinion, is not a test that tests your knowledge. Rather, it tests your ability to think logically and under stressful time constraints. The best way to go about studying for this test is to buy collegeboard’s official study guide, which includes loads of practice tests. Some review books tend to not accurately portray the test, so it’s best to get help directly from the people who make the test. Other than that, just brush up on fundamental grammer, vocabulary, and math.
2. The lowest score you can get on the SAT is (I think) a 600 out of 2400. For writing your name. A 2400 is the highest score, meaning that you got a perfect score on all three sections (math, reading, and writing). Each section is out of 800 and they are added together to get the score out of 2400. Some people might still think of their scores as out of 1600, because they’ve only just added the writing section (so it was just Math 800 plus Reading 800).
Just know that a good score is subjective, and the SAT is not the only factor that goes into college admissions. Good luck!!
Your best bet for SAT preparation is one-on-one help. If you go to Kasamba.com and go to education and tutoring then standardized tests, you’ll find several experts who would guide you through the SAT process.
2400 is perfect, which is extremely hard to get. An 800 is REALLY bad. The lowest you can get on writing, critical reading, and math is a 200 on each section, so a 600 is the lowest anybody could possibly get right (you’d have to get none right on the entire SAT to get a 600).
About a 1600 is average.
