Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

3 Easy SAT Writing Tips

Okay, this is the guide to getting a perfect 800 on the Writing portion of the SAT. These simple but easy SAT writing guide will put you well on your way to getting that perfect SAT writing score that you want.

1. First and most importantly you must write an essay with a score of an 11 or 12. The essay is the first part of the test and is about 1/3 of your Writing SAT score. How do you do this? First of all ignore the SAT writing rubric that the collegeboard provides. This rubric is highly inaccurate because it does not take into account that the graders do not follow it word for word. For example, it says perfect score essays must have near perfect grammar; however, I have seen numerous 12 essays with grammatical mistakes. So how do you do well with ignoring the guideline? These are tips that will really help you get that perfect essay.

a. Your essay should be a full 2 pages. Studies have shown that longer essays receive higher scores. (Generally above 10) This does not mean you can write fluff
b. Have a solid and direct thesis
c. Have a conclusion that brings your essay together
d. Include three relevant examples in the body of your essay that reinforce and prove your thesis statement

2. For the grammar questions there are some simple rules that can help you improve your score

a. In the fist 11 grammar questions of the long writing section, the shortest answer tends to be the right one about 50% of the time
b. However, this is not always the case, so use and trust your basic grammar instincts
c. In the sentence error, sections make sure that tenses, and nouns, and pronouns, and verbs match up with their counterparts. This can guarantee you 75% of these questions. For the rest, use your intuition.
d. For the paragraph sections look for the simplest ways to change the sentences and follow the standards the SAT likes to use

3. Practice! Practice! Practice! The best way to study for the 800 is to take numerous practice tests

So that’s the basic SAT Writing Guide to Getting a perfect SAT writing score. Good Luck!!!
