SAT Questions

it was a #2 by the way. I feel so bad about it and I cant stop thinking about it. I know you can get disease like this. Do you think it is my responsibility to go get tested for disease or intestinal parasites? I would hate to think I would be the cause of him dieing or him passing on a disease and someone else dieing. I read that some parasites can be asymptomatic for up to 30 years and then cause cancer. I also feel like I will look at myself as a disgusting person for the rest of my life. What should I do?

I’m going away for 10 days and I’m leaving my puppy with my mom’s good friend. I feel so guilty but I don’t really have much choice. I know she’s going to give him as much love as she can. She even said she would send her cat to her mothers place while he’s there.

I was reading somewhere that I could leave one of my shirts with him in his bed so he can always smell me, but I’m also worried about separation anxiety; even though I might not even need to worry about it.

He’s almost 8 months old and I’ve had him since Feb. There’s no chance he won’t remember me when I get back right? Anything else that I can do to make his stay better?

I am trying out for sat tutoring in classrooms for Princeton Review or Testtakers in New York. I went to Princeton Review.com and can’t seem to find a registeration deadline.Can you sign up anytime like at the end of June or is there a registration deadline?

Also what is the best sat prep book to study from?

My high school in the UK uses the RM (Research Machines) computer network for all their computer systems, and I was wondering if there was any way for me to access my files from my own laptop via the wireless network if I were to take my laptop to school. I have started SAT preparations just two weeks ago so I really need your advice about boosting my scores until 5th december(when I will take SAT ).The scores I do earn now are not quite admirable,approximately 400 on WS,450 on CS,and 750 on MS-total about 1600,as you see the verbal part is hard one for me because I know English only on intermediate level,also at the I am stiving to improve my comprehension skills by learnig 150 words per day and trying to read as much english books as possible,there is just a little progress and I have some questions relevant to essay part,how can I learn to write well?Please help.I need your encouragement

I am looking for a brand that will be the most helpful in preparing for the SAT subject tests. I am taking the Math Level II, Literature, and Chemistry test. There are so many different book and brands, I don’t know which one will be the most useful. From experience, do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks to all that answer

My computer is connected to the internet through a USB modem with verizon wireless. I have a Linksys WRT54G router. My laptop is connected to the router as well as my host computer. Both my laptop and my computer are able to access the internet using ICS. The XBox however fails the DNS test everytime. (XBox is attempting to connect wirelessly) If my laptop is using ICS fine then why oh why does the XBox fail?

Is Honors Chem fine preparation?

I’m just going back to school this semester, and bought a laptop this week for use on campus. I would like to bring my [15.4” diagonal screen] laptop to school in the same bag as my textbooks and notebooks. Yes, I know I can get a laptop bag and use a backpack. I don’t want to, which is why I’m asking this question. What do you use? Do you buy a special laptop bag that has a lot of extra room for books? Do you buy a messenger bag or backpack made for school, and put your laptop in there (perhaps in a slim case to protect it?)

PLEASE provide websites or links or detailed descriptions for specific companies or bags so I can review them. Don’t say “Google it”. Anyone can do that, and it’s not helpful. TIA.

I scored a 1790 out of 2400 without studying. I think that’s a decent score without preparation but I will take it again in June.
Also, could I get into UT Austin, Texas Christian University and Trinity University with this score?

next year, i’m planning to take ap calculus ab, ap language and comp, ap biology, and ap us history. what would be the best ap prep books for these subjects? im also planning on taking SAT subject tests for math level 2, us history, and biology. what would be the best books for these subject tests or can i use my ap prep books for them?

Can any one help?? I don’t have sound on my laptop. I’ve been using the Altec Lansing portable Audio System (used for my Ipod) as my laptop speakers for almost a year. However, I moved my desk from one room to the next and when I was setting everything up once again, I completely forgot to plug in the Altec Lansing to the my laptop before I turned it (AL system) on. The AL metal part that goes in headphone outlet touched one of the USB’s and gave a loud sound and the laptop built-in speakers gave out.

I don’t know if the events relate, but the laptop built-in speakers aren’t working, my Altec Lansing speakers aren’t sounding, and some extra set of nonrelated speakers I plugged in to test sound do not work.

I think the problem definitely resides in the laptop, but what could it be? If it was simply the built-in speakers that weren’t working, wouldn’t the Altec Lansing and other extra set of nonrelated speakers still work?

Bought a laptop to help me as I go back to school but i will also being using it at work. I do itemize my taxes so can i get a write-off?

As I’m preparing to move on to my sophomore year in high school, I am wondering if taking the SAT Subject Tests earliest as possible will look better than later test dates on a college application.

Instead of taking World History classes, I feel as if I want to commit my time into study and preparation for World History SAT Subject by using World History workbooks (such as Barron’s, Kaplan, etc)

To those who have taken the test: Was the test difficult? Did you take time preparing and studying? Do you recommend taking the World History class first and then the test later a better decision?

I tired to connect my wii to my laptop but wii cannot pass the test connecting to my laptop. i have set up Computer to Computer which will allow other computer use my internet but wii can’t connect. i need y’all help.

I am going to buy a study guide book to help me on the SAT which I will be taking in the Fall;however, I am not sure which one to get. Does anyone know which book is better..either "The Princeton Review’s: Cracking the SAT, 2009 edition" or "College Board’s: Official SAT study Guide" I just need a book that will help me do better on the SAT. I am determined to study a lot this Summer!! Also please tell me why the book you chose for me is better…Thx alot!!

please help me organize or plan things on how to work for a 2000 + in SAT 1 and SAT 2 on May 3rd and June 7th respectively .for which i can start serious preparation only from march 20th.though my exams get over only on the 31st. but its k.. it is computers subject only not really tough!
