which SAT study guide is the best? i’m hoping to get at least like a 2000, preferably like a 2200.

So, for some reason now the mtu test keeps failing and it never did before. I’ve changed my routers mtu many times but none of them seem to work. I’m Using a belkin router FSD7234 4v1 and I am wired to my laptop where I use its wireless card. It has worked beautifully until now. Anyone know whats going on? The current MTU its at is 1454, but ive changed it to 1500, 1364, 1494, 1436, and none of them have worked.

Ok so, I am very confident in English, however, not so much in math…
Some of my friends are spending up to 10,000 a year JUST for SAT tutoring…. I know my family cannot afford that, nor do I have the free time like my friends do. I have a lot of other things to do. (No, not hanging out, it’s more significant than that.)

Anyway, I need to take them some time this year.
What can I do to make sure I’ll get a fantastic score on the SAT with zero money and little time?

I wanna buy a new laptop for college… but it will be used for everything, not just school stuff. (Pic editing, vid editing, personal use, work use, etc.) I want it to be a FAST computer, that doesn’t over-heat, and doesn’t have common problems such as: speakers stop working randomly, crashes, etc.

What type of laptop is the best and why? Please and thanks for any advice!

I have a small chicken that a co-worker gave me and it’s been sitting in my freezer for two weeks. I don’t have the money to go out and buy special ingredients for a little thing like this and an old condition prevents me from being able to digest the tough matter of fruits and vegetables that I might otherwise have prepared it with. Well, I am an entering sophomore (high school) for the 09-10 school year. School starts Monday, and I am more prepared than ever. Sophomores generally take the PSAT test, and I was wondering what is it all about? How hard is it (generally speaking)? Should I take a SAT prep course? WHat are some tips on the PSAT/SAT?

I need to help less savy staff, show our customers at a convention center that yes our wireless system is working and our wireless to Ethernet bridges work too and we wont touch their foobared computer because of liability. I need something Small, simple, and convincing, and could be two different devices.
No I can’t get anybody to lug around a laptop, especially they do alot of walking to get around.

This device may meet part of my needs, but it doesn’t connect to wireless.

I recently recieved a letter from College Consultant Group, Inc and they stated that they assist funding for college. They basically fill out financial applications, provide career planning, offer SAT/ ACT preparation, and attain scholarships for students. They are hosting an interview in my area and have invited me to attend. I am a bit skeptical about their credibility. There is a BBB reliability stamp on the letter but I don’t recognize the significance of that stamp. Has anyone heard about this organization, worked with this organization, or can clarify if this is actually free and legitimate?

Im trying to look for websites, besides the corporate websites of ACT and SAT, that will help me enhance in my studies. I need free tutor websites, or websites that have high school level worksheets, etc. Any websites that have tutorials, or help improving ones understanding in the core areas of high school studies (math, social studies, science, and lit. ) would help. Have any good suggestions, on free websites?

i’m deciding which laptop to buy. I am going to buy either the HP 17" Pavilion Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 1.67GHz Laptop or HP HP 15.4" Pavilion Turion X2 TL-60 2.0GHz Laptop or other HP or other brand laptops. In your opinion, which laptop is the best for me to use it? I am just going to use the laptop for school.

Has anyone taken the SAT/ACT prep courses at Sylvan Learning Center? or do you know anyone that has? I’m considering taking it over the summer, but I want to know if it’s worth my money. So, if anyone could enlighten me on how much they benefitted from the course, that would be much appreciated. Also, if you could name some other places/private tutors for test prep go right ahead! Tell me what you guys recommend! and any tips for SAT prepping and testing are also welcomed! lol.

tools like airecrack and airodump wont work in windows because all the downloads I find don’t have any dll files to run them. Are there any tools I can use that will work for windows or should I switch to MAC or something? Thanx in advance for any advice.

How and where can I find the right people?

Im just curious. Is it really hard the first time around? or are they just exaggerating, imagine alot of books, CD’s, vocabulary guides, preparation schools in the market right now. Internet is full of SAT stuffs.

My cousin wants a laptop for college, and we’re trying to buy him one. I do all online buying for my mom, and neither knows which type would be most useful for school use. HELP!

I use it and when I checked my answers on the "question and answer report" it said "H" for estimated difficulty level. Does that mean that all of the questions were set on the "hard" difficulty level?

PS: I entered in my SAT answers and I scored lower on the practice than I did on the real SAT practice test.
