SAT Questions

Someone here told me to use this guide on the website ( guideparadise.com ) but I wanted to know for sure if I spend the to buy it, if it would really help me. Has anyone tried it? Did it work for you? Was it worth the ?

I have been in New York about half years. I am nearly 18 years old now. I am in 10th grade in High school.For Esl and some high school lessons.

I am trying my best to learn. I just want to now, If I want to study in the college which is one of the Ivy League, What should I do and prepare before I graduate from high school in about one-half year.

Please tell me with detailly , and the experienced better.
Such as the preparation for SAT , or THE volunteer and activities .

The princeton review is offering a 14 week course for like 0 and I’m wondering if I should take it. It’s about 60 dollars per each 3 hour class. Should I take it or should I just study at home? I didn’t really study much when I took the practice test.

Is it Princeton Review, Gruber’s, Kaplan’s, Barron’s, RocketRevolution, etc…?

I chose to go to school online full time, I needed to buy a laptop so I could have proper internet access and know I have a good computer that wont shut down on me during a test or an essay. Can I use my pell grant to pay for my laptop?
they told me it would be sent to me…I don’t have a balance for the school because I had to pay for it up front, which is what i was going to use my pell to pay off

so guys I’m taking the SAT in October and i was wondering what was the best study guide for the SAT? my weakest area i would say is math, but i still want a book that tackles all subjects thoroughly , thank you sooo much

for now Up Your Score: The Underground Guide to the SAT , really attracted me because it seems upbeat and actually bearable to read for hours, but I’m afraid it won’t be good enough. what have you guys heard about this underground study guide?

I am 13 years, 5’1 102 pounds, I am trying to get to my peak fitness, speed and strength for rugby this winter (New Zealander.). At The Moment I am Doing Circuit Training and Sprint training, During My circuit i do low weight high rep bench-press, skipping, boxing bag, press ups, sit ups and other high intensity training, I have a good low fat high protein and carbohydrate diet. Have you Got Any Tips?

I’m going to art school (for college) this upcoming fall, and I will be buying a laptop for it. I will be using it for school work and digital painting with a Wacom tablet.

What’s the best brand + model I should look into? My budget is under 00, so no MacBooks. (And I want it new, not used.)

They called. They didn’t even want to do an interview. I have the job, and apparently, I’m going to sit at a desk in a grocery store and do taxes.

at school i have a laptop and its an acer elitebook i thinkand the battery lasts 6 hours am i really confused because i ahve a laptop that i use at home (because school laptops are monitored 24/7) and its a toshiba satellite and the battery lasts only an hour (if that) is there any way i can play with the settings or anything to make it last longer?
i just bought my laptop 2 months ago and the battery life already went down from an hour and a half

Well it is for ages 11-15 and i wonder if i should take that training course or keep looking you know,i have a whole lot of toddlers and infant’s in my family and i am responsible i never take an eye off of them,should i take the red cross baby sitting course or just keep looking?

P.S. I never take not even one eye of of them.

I took Honors Bio in 10th grade but I didn’t learn a thing. My teacher was horrible and did not even give notes. We learned the material by doing endless amounts of worksheets.

I’m currently thinking about taking the SAT Bio Ecology Exam because I’m in AP Environmental Science. However, I know very little about Bio besides ecology, and I need a way to learn the material, review, and prepare for the exam.
I’m probably going to buy several review books (Barron’s, Kaplan, Princeton Review). I’m also thinking about buying a used textbook to review.
What review book and what textbook do you guys recommend? (Textbook needs to cover all the material and be easy to understand and get through).
Any other recommendations for SAT Bio preparation?

The Acme Plumbing Company will send a team of 3 plumbers to work on a certain job. The company has 4 experienced plumbers and 4 trainees. If a team consists of 1 experienced plumber and 2 trainees, how many different such teams are possible?

Just tell me what you get…I got 48 but the book says the answer is wrong.

Hi. How do I uninstall an XP repair process that cannot be completed because I am misplaced the correct activation key to complete the process?

My laptop had been rather slow for a couple of weeks so I proceeded to defrag my hard drive when it suddenly took me to an error message indicating that the file "nostrolkrnl.exe" file was either corrupt or missing. I then replaced the file using the recovery console on an XP installation disk. This however took me to a "blue screen of death" (BSOD) message reading: "STOP: COOOO21a {fatal system error 0×00000000 0×00000000}. The session manager initiation system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000026c".

At this point, I proceeded to fix my Windows by using the repair function in my XP Professional installation disk. However I was unable to complete the process as I lost the key (I didn’t think it would ask me for the key if only using the repair function). Please note that the installation disk I used to repair my window is not the original one for my laptop. I bought the laptop "used" with no accompanying disks. The laptop now is in a state where it only prompts me for the activation key (after the Windows splash screen) and does not offer me the option to uninstall this repair.

Please let me know if it is possible to uninstall this and/or (assuming it’s possible) how to repair the BSOD. The BSOD message doesn’t show now, but I figure it will if as soon as I am able to uninstall the repair.

Also note that my hard drive appears to be fine as it passed several tests using Techies Toolkit software.

Is there something you are supposed to do to blackberries prior to eating them or cooking with them? Perhaps covering them with sugar and letting them sit, like you do with strawberries? I am talking about the fresh ones you get in those little plastic containers in the produce section. I bought a package of them and made blackberry pancakes with them last night, but the pancakes didn’t turn out very good. They just weren’t sweet. Are they supposed to taste like that? I cut them up and put them in the batter and cooked the pancakes like that. Did I do something wrong? I mean, they were okay, but not delicious like I thought they would be. Please tell me about preparation and cooking with blackberries if you know. I would be most grateful for some answers.

there is this website on sat practice and everything about it videos. it has math and english step by step videos, but its 0 for 3 months. I’ve seen the sample videos and they are good.

Does the cost sound resonable?
