I’m just wondering if there are any good websites that anyone recommends which provide tips and strategies, along with practices out there to prepare you for the SAT. I am not fully depending on it, since I am also taking SAT Prep courses, but I am just looking for sites that I can use to prep.

I need a new laptop I have worn mine out and it is a P.C. all of my 4 computers are P.C.’s however I feel that I need to move onto mac’s so I was just wondering what you would suggest for me to buy for school? I use my laptop a lot so I need something that won’t let me down.

I usually am an 85-90 gpa student and when i take major tests i end up getting 70-75’s. I bombed my psat’s. Is there any help for me to concentrate better on tests or any advice out there??
Im worried about the SATs enormously!! plz help

it doesn’t say on the website so im just wondering how much they cost and if you’ve used them ifthey’re good

i don’t think it is real and i think it is better to study by yourself. it sounds plausible, and it looks real..but how come i never heard about it before? and Titanica (one of the people who claims it helped him) is pasting the same paragraph in every question about TutorFox or SAT preparation information. And i don’t trust him. YOU should buy a Princeton Review, i bet they sell it in many bookshops in the States. It has fabulous tricks and short-cuts to getting the right answer. i just began today, i’m 11th grader btw. I know i started pretty late, oh well..and i really suck at math - but i am just trying to inspire the people who are starting to study for the SAT and are worrying. i even took a mini-SAT on Sparknotes and got %47. really bad… but anyway, good luck! Sorry, this wasn’t really a question..but let’s see if Titanica shows up on my question and pastes the same paragraph..

I’ll use the computer for music and media, papers for school and surfing the web. I’ll also plan to put on a dolphin game cube emulator to run supersmash bros melee. What would be the best computer to get?

I am planning on taking SAT Subject Tests in US History and Biology in October. As I was studying my prep books, I was wondering if I also used AP prep books for those classes, would they help? I really want to get a high scores on these tests. Are the AP prep books more in depths? I have never taken an AP exam before so I don’t know how thorough AP prep books are. Or should I just stick to studying only SAT Subject Test prep books?

My questions is not just using AP prep books but using both SAT II preps and AP preps.

I’m 14 years old, and about to start highschool.

I’m going to try my hardest to get valedictorian, which means a very high grades and very high score on my SAT.

I know I can’t pay you, but if you would help me that’d be great! Please..
Thanks. Oh and tell me your score :D

I’m already paying for a summer SAT program, but I just need some extra help.

No crap answers please. I’m serious about this.

Thanks. 10 points BA. :D

Last Menses were May 31st (first day). I usually have a regular 26-27 day cycle. We had sex on June 9. I had cramps on June 12 and 13. Thinking that I was ovulating, we had sex again pm of June 13. Then again on the 15th.I had some spotting on June 16 which I thought was because of the night before. I fought with the fiance on the 17th (for the past few days I have been very very moody). I would find myself crying over something I see on TV (it’s not like me to cry like that). I walked to the bus stop yesterday with my laptop and I got tired. I am used to carrying heavier things than the laptop but I felt like I hiked up a mountain! Today, with just my purse, I walked the same route and I still got tired! When I rode the MRT (Metro Rail), I got tired (how could anyone get tired just standing/leaning on a post?!). Oh and when I ride any form of transportation, I get motion sickness which is unusual for me. I bought a preg test when I went to the grocery today but I am hesitant to use it because it might not make any difference - it might be negative now, but next week, what if it is positive (or maybe still negative), only God knows! But I really want to find out if I am pregnant.

details please! also if it raised your score, by how much did it raise it?

I want to master all of the SAT words by the march test. I’m very bad at vocab. any suggestions?

I want to have a laptops altough a used laptops to support my small bussines in llink bussines. Now, I’m being a poor man and I want to be a rich man through this bussines. And then if I have to becomed a rich man I want to distribute my money to poor parents
in order to make their childs go to school.

I’m starting my junior year in high school this fall
and i really want to do good this year so i can go to a good college.
when should i start purchasing books for the Sats to study from and when should i start signing up for classes and tutoring for the SATS?

Are the Princeton Review SAT practice test generally harder than the Sat and other prep books?
I took the Barron’s 2400 practice test and I got a score in the range of 1450-1520. I got a 1580 on the PSAT. I took the PR sat practice test and I got a 1210!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… I’m so annoyed. Now I really dont know where I stand in terms of SAT performance.

Just got a new PC for testing apps, I was wondering whether I can use a KVM to run the PC from my Laptop.

Most configurations I see are for using KVM for 2 PC or controled from a PC; what I want to know is whether I can use the laptops Keyboard, monitor and mouse to control the PC.

please explain why and if possible where is the best place to register (for an online course).

It’d be helpful if you provide a little bit about the site (fee, date class starts, time…)

thank you so much!!!!
I see. but what’s the difference between a course and more practice tests?
I know it sounds dumb. what I mean is if you take a course. wouldn’t they give you practices and explanations?

I know the one published in 2005 (which I currently have) contains eight practice tests.

My question is if the new SAT preparation book contains 10 never-before-published tests or if it contains some of the eight tests in the 2005 edition and some new ones? Any answers would be awesome. I’m thinking of buying the 2009 edition, but I want to make sure the tests are new and not the same ones as in the edition published in 2005. Thanks!

Is the Official SAT Online Course at Collegeboard.com just an online alternatitive to the stuff that’s written in the Official SAT Study Guide? In other words - is the online course the "Official SAT Study Guide" but online? Or is it entirely different with different questions, etc?

I hope my question is clear..thanks for the help!

did anyone try it? and what is it like? is it something like Princeton Review or College Board SAT Prep Book? What scores did you get after this book? and why is it so expensive?

Okay, so I just bought the Sparknotes: SAT II US History book and so far it seems pretty good, but I want the best one! Let me expalin one thing though, I’m in high school and I took a History 17B course over summer at a Comm. College in the area because it fulfilled the requirement for US History at my school. the only problem is that it only covered 1865 and beyond and the SAT II goes from columbian age and beyond. SO, I need a book the will give me all I need to know about the earlier part, plus, at least a detailed review of the 1865 and beyond.

Bottomline, I have a week to return the book if you guys think another one is significantly better!
