SAT Questions

I found a study aid online called SAT Tutor in a Box. Does anyone know if it’s legit? It sounds like a really great program but it’s 0. I don’t want to waste my money, so I’d like to know if it actually works.

I was just wondering about this, since I’ve heard countless times that the questions in the College Board’s Official SAT Study Guide are a bit easier than the ones on the real test. I’m using this guide right now to study for my upcoming SAT exam, but I was also thinking about signing up for the online course for additional practice. I just want to make sure before I go about and waste .

This may be off topic but: Does anyone have any good tips to studying SAT Math? I’ve been practicing questions and reading guides, but I was wondering if there was something additional that I could do to boost my score.

Which are good for preparation of the SAT test?
And which are not very long? because I have to finish reading in a short-time.

I’m looking into buying a used laptop for school work; I’m an art student working in digital media. I don’t need anything super fancy or cutting edge; something I can take notes in class with, draw with, play a little music or video here and there. What have you got for me, Answers?

I’m am A Junior in high school. Many times I’ve failed all my classes and so I deiced to finish high school with a GED and take my SAT/ACT and score high to go to collage when I wish to go. I need to know what are some good websites or books that will prepare me for all the test I’m going to take?

I just want to have an effectual preparation for the test…i am just wondering if this online aspect is no match to the classroom SAT courses?

The answer is C, and I don’t understand how you get to that. The rationale that the web site gave me was quite confusing and I didn’t understand it. (I’m using number2.com)
So would the easiest thing to do be plug in all the numbers?

And are you allowed to use calculators on these tests?

I work at Bestbuy, and i see many of them return items like cameras and laptops after "test use". I know there are people of all kinds take advantages of our rules, but i see more Indians in particular.

So, I know this question has been asked a lot, but what I want to know is which SAT guide is the best (that worked for you) especially as far as math tips go since fast paced math isn’t my greatest skill? I already bought a vocabulary book which is pretty good and plan to buy the official guide, but which other out there would you recommend that had some unique tips?

I’m looking to buy a new laptop. I have a laptop, but it is old and used and does not run well.

I’m planning on using this laptop for school writing assignments and taking notes in class, so I will need one that has a long battery life as well as one that is relatively light and portable.

I will also be using it for recreational purposes, such as e-mail, IM, games, etc. so I would need it to be able to handle downloads, photos, CDs, DVDs, and itunes easily.

Unfortunately I am also on a budget so I’m looking for the best possible price. I know absolutely nothing about computers/laptops/operating systems and everything like that.

And if it’s possible I’d like suggestions that will help me decide how to set it up once I buy the laptop.

I’d also prefer to buy a newer laptop, but I will deal with whatever suggestions are given because I trust my knowledge of computers, well, not at all.

And where can I find a good GRE vocab list?

I recently took the PSAT and didn’t get top-tier results but mostly average. I have heard that just because someone gets a high SAT score doesn’t mean they’re smart nor does it mean that they will get into a college of their choice for sure. So should I take a SAT course to improve the areas which I am weak in and get better at test-taking OR should I just buy an SAT book and do the work independently? Answers with explanations help! I’ve been using the test drive on my laptop for Word and it’s about to expire. I need something else that I can use to take and store notes, even just for another 30 days of test driving. My university won’t get the actual Office suite that I’m wanting for a while yet, so I need anything that I can a least test drive for free for a few more weeks or so.
It needs to be something I can write notes, and preferably papers, in and save them for as long as the test drive lasts.
Anything resembling Office’s Word would be welcome. If possible, a link to where I can get it or find out more would be appreciated.
