Can a person with a disability get the SAT test waived?

I heard some people with disabilities like myself (ADHD, Bipolar, and Autism) can get the SAT waived – and maybe use an IQ test, to get into college – or some kind of other test. Is it true that you can get the SAT test waived? I make good greats, but everytime I take a test, from my Autism, I always take things literal, and at times, get a very low score – in which is always, invalid for me.
good grades*** my mistake.. lol

I just sent in my SAT scores and my application is due in a week but the College board states that my college might not receive it for 1-2 weeks. Is that okay or will they not accept my application?

Hey. When i took the SAT, I omitted four questions in the math section (2 multiple choice and 2 student-response grid-ins). Is it still possible to get an 800 on the math section if I got all of the other questions right? Thanks.

Please let me know all the possible SAT prep classes I could possibly take. I feel like everyone’s just stuck between kaplan and princeton. Maybe there are other types of good courses that people aren’t really aware of.

But while you’re at it, please let me know which one you would BEST reccomend. Kaplan or princeton? & why?
Also, if it is possible, just tell me your scores after you took that course and (if applicable) what colleges you made it into.

So I just took the SAT practice test that was provided in my SAT book. I got a 1250 which I find to be a bit low. The thing is I didn’t study..I just used my knowledge from school. I’m taking the real thing soon. All my other friends got at least 200 points higher than me..So is 1250 (for someone who did not study) good?

What are the best tips and strategies for taking the SAT test? I’m taking it in 2 days…however, is it a good or bad idea to only study for it tomorrow? Because I just got done with 3 straight exams for this week, which is midterm week…AP US History, PreCalc, and Spanish 4. I’m trying not to bog my mind down too much, so should I ignore that and study now or wait until tomorrow and have fun for today (I’d study all day tomorrow).

My friend has recently taken the SAT practice test and he wants to know that if the scores that he got were the same as the scores he would get on the real SAT, what type of colleges would they get him into. This is how he did, his range really.

Critical Reading 550 – 610
Writing 580 – 710
Math 480 – 540

that was his range, is it good or bad?

I’ve decided to take the SAT because I think I can do better on it than the ACT after researching the two. What are some SAT prep books that would help me?

I’m not looking to spend more than on a book though. But it’s okay if it’s a little bit over that.

I know that on the Old SAT skipping a question or two is recommended, but I am not sure about the new SAT! Does anyone have any idea? Any proof online about it? I couldn’t find anything. Also any recommendations or tips?

No, not the SAT, the sat test is what I’m talking about. Do I have to answer all the questions, and is there a pentalty for wrong or unanswered questions? This test I’ve taken every year since fourth grade.

I need to learn and memorize too many words for my SAT test in a short period of time. Is there any way to do it fast?

I took the May SAT and I got a 2100. I received a 660 on critical reading, a 730 in math, and a 710 in writing skills. I looked up the SAT scores expected by Harvard officials, and I met the categories in math and writing skills, but i was 30 points shy from meeting the standards in critical reading. Can I still be accepted with my scores as long as I have a good GPA and plenty of extra curricular activities?

I am in the seventh grade, and few people take this practice SAT that goes on our resume. My parents think I should be studying for
it because it determines what classes we get in next year, and helps get into good colleges if we do good. Who knows good sites to go on for some practice questions?

What is the best way to prep for SAT? And is it on the scale of 1600 or 2400? And does your SAT speak louder than your GPA? And if you improve your GPA in the last 2 years of high school will that improve your chances of getting into a good college? Also can you get a scholarship if you get a good score on your SAT?

I’m a permanent resident student (green card holder) in the U.S, I need to transfer to university from a community college, do I need to take SAT test in order to transferring? (I’m taking classes in the community college) ……Or it depends on different universities’ requirements?

I’m going to be a Senior in high school this next year and I took the SAT test in May. I recently got my SAT scores back and I don’t know how to decipher them according to my college aspirations.

I’m taking the SAT Reasoning test this Saturday, and some people are telling me it’s better to skip questions you don’t know rather than guess; other people are telling me to guess rather than skip the question.

I have that question open up right now and if you know the answer, please take time to answer that question as well.

But my question here is, if it IS better to skip questions you don’t know on the SAT Reasoning test, how many questions would you recommend skipping PER SECTION? How many skipped-questions would be considered too much?

I found a SAT prep book in my house from my sister, and its the Peterson’s Panic Plan for the SAT, but its from 2001. Will it be okay to use it? Or do I need to go out and buy a new edition?
